Courageous Leadership by Bill Hybels - This is a great resource that we use in LEAD Team. It supports the subject of Leadership Development. Hybels really hits the nail on the head when it comes to what a leader looks like in the local church.
The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable by Patrick Lencioni - We use this book to underline what makes a great team. Most leaders in LEAD Team have already, and will likely continue to build teams to go about their work. This book covers Leadership Development and also to some extent, emotional wellness.
The Dream Giver: Following Your God-Given Destiny by Bruce Wilkinson - This, I think, is my favorite book of all time. The Dream Giver tells, in allegory form, all the pit falls and pains that it takes to find your God given dream. This is another Leadership Development book, with some support in emotional wellness.

Outskirts Press - The publisher that I used to publish emerge. I believe I have had a great experience with them. They offer:
     Inexpensive self publishing options - $200 - 1000.
Professional editing services - $600 for emerge.
Flexible pricing - you control the cover price of your book, including your royalties.
Flexible distribution options - You choose the offerings - on line, book store, or both.
Short publishing times - It was 8 months for me, but probably 3-4 months of that delay was on my side.
Print on Demand publishing - When someone buys the book on Amazon, it gets printed and mailed in a couple days.
(You don't have to pay for 1000+ books to be printed and stored until they sell.)
Author discount - You can purchase copies of your own book at substantial discount
Marketing Support - I've received several hundred emails from them advising me on how to promote my book.
Click on the link above and read their free e-book on self publishing. If you're thinking of publishing, I think you'll be impressed.

Outskirts Press Author Website for Ken Jibben - Outskirts Press offers a free web site for all their authors. Here's mine. (Obviously, I'm investing more in this web site.)

Luther Park in Chetek, WI - This is the retreat center where we have our LEAD Team retreats. Admittedly, anyone more than a few hundred miles from Chetek, Wisconsin will probably find this link useless. However, it might be interesting for comparison sake.

Jacob's Well Church in Eau Claire, WI - This is our church. I believe it was planted in 2001. Kristi and I have had the privilege of serving here since 2002. This is a great church and has awesome staff.
